Cute for Spring Birdhouse
birdhouse_Ab.JPG

This is a cute little birdhouse for spring that will definitely will add some color to any room. I just love the cute little worm and lady bug, and the delightfully fun color palette! Crafty Dream used her Cricuit to create the bird shapes, scrapbook paper and Apple Barrel paint, as well as Mod Podge for Glue.

Tween Room Decor - Crafty Speaker Cover
Speaker_Box.jpg
I love this idea for making cool speakers for your MP3 player. Factory Direct Craft has instructions to make a cute little speaker cover that can coordinate with any room (I especially love this bright room featuring red and primary colors). THe Speaker is right below the wall banner. This is a great project for older tweens or teens. You'll want to get an adult to help you with this project because you'll need power tools.

Easy "Stained Glass" Votives

Jenny Ryan wanted an easy and inexpensive way to display votive candles, and came up with this "stained glass" look using items she had on hand. You and your kids can cut custom shapes if you don't have any paper punches. See how to make this project on Craftzine.
