Teaching Thursday: Skull Necklace and Bracelet

Many people typically create scary
decorations or carve pumpkins to celebrate Halloween. While there is nothing wrong
with creating those things, why not try creating a Halloween craft you can
wear? Take this skull necklace and bracelet designed by Amy
Anderson. This Halloween themed jewelry set has just right dose of style and
spooky mixed together. This project would be a great craft for your tween or
teen to create. Amy created these pieces using Mod Podge formulas and
accessories. All the materials you will need are below, and to find the
instructions for this project click here.

Web Wednesday: DIY Halloween Canvases

It is exactly one week away from
Halloween. Aren't you excited? I know we here at Plaid are. Have you completed
all your craft creations for this festive holiday? If not, no worries you still
have plenty of time to create some great Halloween projects. One project that
you should make with your kids is these DIY Halloween Canvases. We stumbled
across this project on the blog Funky Polkadot Giraffe. Kyla created this
project using several products from the Martha Stewart craft line. Once this
project is completed hang it in your kid's room, or on your front door. Learn
about all the products used in this project, and how to make it here.

Tuesday Tutorial: Painted Rock Owls

The month of October is not only about
Halloween crafting, many people craft to celebrate the cool fall season. In
case you are looking for a different type of project to create that does not
include a pumpkin, try making these painted rock owls. Kindra Boroff, one of
Plaid's talented designers, designed this kid friendly project. These rocks
were painted with our Delta soy paints. This is an eco craft that would be a
