Freelance Friday: On-The-Go Tic Tac Toe



Need some ideas to keep your kids entertained during the fall months? Check out this on the go tic tac toe game created we found on the blog, Creative Family Fun. Terri designed this craft project to occupy her little girls. She used some of our new Martha Stewart glass paints to create this project. This is such a creative and fun idea, and it is a game your kids can travel with. This project may look difficult to make, but it is actually very easy, to learn how Terri made this project visit her blog here. Teaching Thursday: Frankenstein Topped Treat Bags



Throw out those boring plastic bags that you normally use to give out candy, and try something new. Give your guest a bag of treats topped with a fun monster. Check out these Frankenstein Topped Treat Bags, aren’t they so creative? Kirsten Jones, a freelance designer for Plaid, made these bags. This is a great project to create with your kids. PLAID Supplies


·       FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Lime Green, 2 oz.

·       FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Wicker White, 2 oz.

·       FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Licorice, 2 oz.

·       FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Coffee Bean, 2 oz.

·       Mod Podge ® Paper - Matte, 4 oz.


Other Supplies


2 white paper bags
Zig-zag scrap book paper
2 wood clothes pins
Fine point black marker

Web Wednesday: Sweet and Spooky Halloween Votives


 

Oh I am so excited the leaves are starting to change colors, and the temperatures are finally cooling down. The start of the fall season is the best time to enjoy the weather and begin to create some fall themed crafts. This time of year is also perfect to get your kids involved in crafting. There are so many easy and fun kid friendly crafts they can create. One example of this can be seen in this Halloween Votive project.
