Tuesday Tutorial: Halloween Friends



Check out these fantastic Halloween projects. Aren't they just amazing? This is the perfect Halloween craft for kids to make, especially in the classroom. Kindra Boroff designed these Halloween friends. She combined clay pots and Apple Barrel paints, which are great craft materials for kids. In addition to using Apple Barrel and clay pots, this project incorporates stiffy. Stiffy is a great product to use on Halloween projects, especially ghosts and ghouls. PLAID Supplies


·       Stiffy ® Fabric Stiffener, 8 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - Kiwi, 2 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - Bright Red, 2 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - White, 2 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - Black, 2 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - Antique White, 2 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - Pewter Grey, 2 oz.

·       Apple Barrel ® Colors - Khaki, 2 oz.


Other Supplies


1 1/2" Spouncer #1 Script Liner #12 Flat 4”Styrofoam balls
4” Clay rose pots
Hot glue
Adhesive back felt
Black construction paper
Orange rickrack
Purple sequin ribbon
Green sequin ribbon
twine
buttons
4”Styrofoam balls
4” Cheesecloth
2” Styrofoam ball
1” Styrofoam ball
Black foam
Scrap of red ribbon
Foam sheet or balsa wood.

Monday Funday: Halloween Batty Pot


 

Welcome back from the weekend. Hope you had a wonderful time and were able to get some Halloween projects completed. We have a great kids project to share with you that is perfect to create at home or at school. Sherrie Ragsdale designed this batty project, and it is very simple and fun to create. This project uses clay pots, which are a great surface to craft on. Use this batty pot to store some Halloween goodies. Purple Foam Sheet
Craft Glue

Freelance Friday: Painted Halloween Jar Candles



Yay the weekend is here, and it is time to craft! We’ve got the perfect project that your kids would love to help create, painted Halloween jar candles. We discovered this project on the blog, Jedi Craft Girl. It immediately caught our attention, because not only is it great for kids it is so cool.
