Web Wednesday: Mod Podge Fabric Frames with Antique Matte Mod Podge

Looking for a way to spruce up your child's room? Well, try creating these Mod Podge fabric frames. These frames are cute and easy to make. What caught my eye about these frames was the antique look they had. Using one of Plaid’s newest Mod Podge formulas, Antique Mod Podge, helped create this look on the frames. These frames are a great project for your older kids to help create. Melissa made these frames on her blog number 2 pencil. To see how to make these fabric frames click here.

Tuesday Tutorial: Lunch Time & Locker Love

By Candie Cooper: See more from Candie on her blog, Candie Cooper's Journal

The kids are back to school and working hard! How about a couple special projects to sweeten up their days?

I found these flower mirrors in the party favor section of the super store. They have a hole in them so you can make a necklace, or you can turn them into fun locker magnets like these!

Use a paper punch to punch shapes out of pretty paper. Dots and hearts are fun or you can cut shapes out with scissors.

Use Mod Podge Gloss to adhere the shapes to the mirrors.

Flat back gems can be added with Podge as well.

Cut leaf shapes from paper and Mod Podge them together. Attach the leaves to the mirror with MP also.

Add a magnet to the back and you've got a garden of cuteness growing in the locker.

This is a lunch bag I picked up and embellished with ribbons, buttons and are you ready.....?!?
