Freelance Friday: Kids Laptop Makeover using Mod Podge

Kids are so much more technologically advanced than we were at their age. I often see kids with a laptop, iPad, or some other computer device. Computers often take over the time, which kids could be using their hands on a craft project. We found a project that can combine computers and crafts. Have your kids personalize their laptops with mod podge, like the one pictured above. This laptop received a makeover from The Crafting Chicks. This mixed media craft was made using mainly mod podge. This is a great project for you and your kids to work on together. Click here to see how this laptop cover was made. Enjoy!

Web Wednesday: Mod Podge Sparkler Safety Caddy for the Fourth of July

Happy 4th of July. The 4th is a great holiday to celebrate, it also one to take precautions on. One of the most popular yet dangerous 4th of July accessories are sparklers. Many children are attracted to these pretty accessories, but they also need to be cautious. Luckily we discovered this sparkler caddy on a craft blog called, Merriment Design. This is such a great idea, and one that should be around wherever there are kids and sparklers. This project was made using several mod podge products, including some new ones recently released and available at your local Michaels. To see all the supplies used, and for step-by-step instructions click here.
