Halloween crafting is perfect for kids. There are so many funny, creative, and kid friendly spooky projects to create. Trenice Bishop designed this googly eye frame. It is so simple, a perfect project for beginners that will only take up to an hour and a half to complete. After you complete this project it makes a great place to put a photo of your kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes.
Plaid Supplies
Plaid Wood Frame -12880, FolkArt Paint – 503 Yellow Citron, FolkArt Acrylic Paint – 479 Pure Black, FolkArt Acrylic Paint- 901 Wicker White
Additional Supplies
Painter's tape, Wiggly eyes, Craft brushes, Hot glue gun, Craft spray, Water bowl,
Instructions
1. Paint entire Memory Frame surface with Yellow Citron and let dry.
2. When dry, use the painter's tape to create the lined pattern.
3. Paint over tape with Pure Black and allow time to dry.
4. Remove the tape to reveal the pattern on the frame.
5. Spray with a clear craft spray and let dry. (Use fats drying spray to cut drying time.)
6. Arrange the wiggly eyes on the frame to create the scary face.
7. Use the hot glue gun to secure the wiggly eyes to the frame.
8. Using a liner brush, paint the woo “Boo” just to the side of the mouth of the face.
9. Add your favorite photo
Project Tip
Use a cotton swab dipped in petroleum when you're ready to glue them down jelly to transfer the wiggly eyes to the frame.
