Mod Melt Fairy Crowns
This project is for all the people who love those magical fairy gardens as much as I do. Plain sequin crowns have been transformed into fairy crowns with Plaid's new Mod Melts, a few silk leaves and flowers. These are fun for birthday parties or simply exploring the backyard. Let's face it, everything is fun when there are sequin tiara's involved.
Introducing Plaid's new Mod Melts invented by Cathie and Steve! These are SUPER cool! The line consists of molds and special resin like glue sticks. Simply pick your favorite mold and start filling them up with the special resin like glue sticks that go in your glue gun. Definitely a grown up part of this activity.
Paint the Mod Melts in your favorite Folk Art colors or leave them in classic ivory.
Here they are glued with gems on the crown. Oh dear, I almost forgot. I also painted the silk leaves with Folk Art Metallic Pearl paint to make them more dreamy. The ivy leaves left untouched were harsh and kind of well, green.
For the wild backyard fairy! All my favorite things to be sure: hot pink hearts, orange gerber Mod Melt flower, and a zebra print felt flower. Now that's a party crown!
Have fun embellishing with Mod Melts! I know you will!
