Candie Cooper for Plaid
Have you Mod Podged tissue paper to anything yet? Do it once and you'll want to cover everything in sight with it! Here are some cheap-y vases that were jazzed up with this very Mod Podged tissue paper phenomenon.
Here's what the vase looks like in the package. It's flat and then pops out when you fill it with water. You can get them at the dollar store. You'll also need Mod Podge, tissue paper and a paint brush.
There are two ways to do this. You can either cut or shred your tissue paper. It's up to you! Adhere it to the vase surface with Mod Podge. I'm using MP gloss for these. Trim the overhanging tissue paper edges with scissors...or tear it.
You can be trendy and make a zig zag pattern too. This takes a lot more time (and patience), but it looks cool!
Don't stop here though, by all means tie a ribbon or piece of twine around the front!
Add some sparkly flat back crystals and glitter!
And make one for your favorite gardener, your mom, neighbor and grandma!
