Last summer I bought some fishing lures
for only the fact that I thought they were painted really cool. Once you get
the giant hooks clipped from them, they're really fun to craft with!
Pick your favorite Folk Art paints,
Plaid rub-ons, fishing lure and unfinished box (this one is from the dollar
store). You'll also need some paintbrushes. Paint the box in your favorite color
and leave to dry.
Pick your sentiment and position on the
box. Hold it steady while rubbing over the section you want with a craft stick
to transfer the rub-on to the box.
It needed something else so I cut jumbo
confetti from yellow card stock and Mod Podged it to the side of the box lid. You
can also seal the entire box with Mod Podge to make it shiny.
Hot glue the lure on top.
For safe keeping of change, trinkets
and fish tales!
