The other day my studio mate had her
daughter and friends artwork on her desk. The drawings were so cool and bold, I
had to make color copies of them. Here's how I used them:
The dishes were found at the dollar
store (my favorite store these days). You'll also need color copies of
art work, Mod Podge, paint brush and scissors.
Cut around the color copy leaving a
tiny border. Don't forget, you can always have the artwork enlarged or
reduced at the color copiers to fit your dish or project.
Paint the back side of the image with
Mod Podge and stick onto the dish, smoothing out any air pockets. Seal
only the top of the flower and tiny border around the flower with Mod Podge and
leave to dry. Repeat one more time to give it a good seal.
Fill it with your favorite jewelry!
Or give as a present----everyone loves
custom art dishes!
