Monday Funday: Trick or Treat Boxes

By Candie Cooper – To see more crafts from Candie visit her blog Candie Cooper’s Journal

These little skeletons look like they are up to some tricks but inside they're all treats!

Folk Art paints love any paper mache' surface like these skeleton boxes. You'll need your favorite colors plus white, Extreme Glitter in Hologram, paintbrushes and a permanent marker.

Paint the bottom half of the box in the desired colors.

Paint the faces with Ivory White and leave to dry. Add a sparkly layer with Extreme Glitter. Use a permanent marker on the edge to add dashes, stripes, or dots.

Tissue paper was Mod Podged on the inside and left to dry. Have you seen the MP formula sampler pack? Awesome for beginners and small projects like votives, jewelry and more!

I found these die cut eyeballs and couldn't resist adding them to the skulls. Suddenly they come to life! Funny, huh?

Baker's twine bows were added with hot glue. Fill them up with sweet or silly treats for your friends this Halloween!
