Freelance Friday: Shine Sign

Home decor is typically one of those areas you do not have your kids help you with. While they always mean well their taste may not be the same as yours. The idea of having polka dotted walls is not exactly the look you are going for in your dinning room. However if your kids are insistent on helping decorate the home, here is a great project you can help them create. Cheri from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar created this Shine Sign. This is such a simple project to make, even though it looks intricate Cheri made this sign with all supplies she found at her local Walmart. Cheri used Apple Barrel paint, Mod Podge, and strips of fabric. This is a great project to make this weekend with your kids. Let their inner decorator come out, and get creative.
