Tuesday Tutorial: Kids Decor Hanging Jellyfish



Do your little ones like the ocean? Have they been exposed to the creatures of the sea? If they are fans of the seas, then they are sure to fall in love with this great summer project. Wiggle away boredom with this hanging jellyfish. This is such a simple project that will take no time to create.

 

PLAID Supplies


·       FolkArt ® Outdoor™ Acrylic Colors - Brush On - Lemon Custard, 2 oz.


Other Supplies


Water bottle
Sponge brush
Hole puncher
Seven 30" 1/8" ribbons - yellow
Six 30" 1/8" ribbons - orange
Two large wiggle eyes
Craft knife or scissors (adults only)
White craft glue


Instructions


1.    Cut the bottom half of the bottle horizontally with scissors or a craft knife (adults only).

2.    Paint the inside of the bottle Lemon Custard using the sponge brush. Allow to dry. Add as many coats as needed for opaque coverage.

3.    Punch 12 holes along the bottom edge with hole punch. Insert the ribbon alternating colors as you go.

4.    Glue wiggle eyes and the hanger in place.

5.    Puncture hole at center of bottle bottom. Thread ribbon through hole and secure with a knot to create hanger.
